Hi, I am Brenda Cali, Owner and Director of Events and Weddings at Gatherings for Good. We are a Santa Barbara based event planning company offering full service planning, design and coordination for weddings and special events that officially launched in 2014.
Since then we have been planning and coordinating events throughout Santa Barbara County and have helped many couples plan their dream destination wedding. We have also worked closely with local businesses and non-profits helping to plan, design and coordinate fundraisers, social events and corporate functions.
Gatherings for Good evolved from the two things we love most: planning events and giving back! We are proud to be able to give back to the community through volunteer work and by donating a portion of our event fees to worthy causes across the county and nation.
Prior to Gatherings for Good I worked in many areas including hospitality, real estate, medical device industries with a focus on organization, meetings and events and sales and marketing. I also worked alongside established event planners and coordinators which gave me practical, hands on experience for several years early on in my career.
My formal background includes professional and certification courses with San Jose Professional Development, the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants and the Event Leadership Institute.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and now reside on the beautiful Central Coast along with my husband and 1 year old son, Henry who has given me a new purpose in life.
