I had the pleasure of working with Shannon and Ross who reached out to me earlier this year asking for help planning a private ceremony. The couple, who reside near San Diego have ties to Santa Barbara and decided on the historic Santa Barbara Old Mission Rose Garden. Surrounded by their parents and in the middle of the blooming roses, the couple exchanged their vows while the notable landmark provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. After their intimate ceremony, the couple enjoyed a mid-day brunch amongst friends and family at the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel. The brunch was held outdoors in the Palmera Gardens and was the perfect setting for their casual and elegant reception. The bride, originally from Hawaii, loved the tropical feel of the tall Palm Trees and lush landscape, and chose to add to the already breathtaking scenery with gorgeous floral arrangements created by Knot Just Flowers. Guests sipped on champagne and enjoyed a scrumptious brunch buffet with lovely Hawaiian style guitar and ukulele music playing in the background provided by Gavin Roy Presents. This was one of the most cheery, colorful weddings I've ever seen! The gorgeous, bright colors were picture perfect for Brynne and Ryan's June wedding on a hot and sunny day in Santa Barbara, CA. The roof of the Canary Hotel was the perfect setting for these two love birds to say "I Do.' Everything about this wedding made me happy from the bride's stunning dress to their thoughtful vows during their ceremony, to their fun and cheerful decor. Brynne and Ryan's love for each other and happiness were reflected so well in all their details and personal touches. After their ceremony, the bride and groom danced the night away with their dearest friends and family with music by Gavin Roy Presents. The string lights and paper lanterns created a beautiful atmosphere for all to enjoy with stunning Santa Barbara views and breathtaking sunset from the rooftop of the downtown hotel! Thank you to the amazing team at the Canary Hotel and the following list of vendors who made all this loveliness happen! Recently I had the opportunity to coordinate a styled photo shoot at the beautiful Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. The inspiration behind the shoot was to showcase the versatility of the venue and the various locations outside of the museum that can be rented for a variety of special events which include the spacious, yet intimate patio and the upper level deck (Crow's Nest) on the museum's 4th floor which overlooks the beautiful Santa Barbara Harbor! Collaborating with me on the styling for this shoot was a very talented team of wedding and event professionals in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area listed below. Our vision for the shoot was to showcase a stylish dinner and cozy lounge on the patio, fun and tasty dessert bar, and cocktails on the deck at sunset. Fun, elegant and romantic with a touch of ocean breeze! The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum is located in the Santa Barbara Harbor and is a beautiful and versatile space to host a variety of social events, corporate events and weddings. The beach front venue is surrounded by restaurants and offers many activities for you and your guests to enjoy right on the water such as kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing as well as sunset cruises and whale watching. The museum can accommodate 150 for a seated dinner and 400 for a reception. For more information and pricing for event and wedding packages, please visit www.santabarbaraoceanviewweddings.com. A special thank you to all the event professionals listed below for lending their time and creative talents to this photo shoot! Venue: Santa Barbara Maritime Museum
