Brenda Cali, Owner & Creative Director

I'm Brenda, Owner and Creative Director of Events and Weddings at Gatherings for Good! I'm a busy mom of 2 which makes me the perfect partner for you because I can handle it all! Seriously! 

In my day to day life I balance work and family like a pro! I am obsessed with detail and organization and am always planning something whether it is a birthday party, school function, wedding, baby shower, or play date!

Gatherings for Good is my passion. It was my baby before I had babies. It was a dream of mine to start my own event planning business once I knew that planning was something I was good at. I am so grateful to have a job I love and to be able to help people bring their vision tl life! 

​What I enjoy most about events is not only the people I get to work with but seeing everything come together after months and months of hard work. I get so much joy and satisfaction turning a dream into reality.

​Working in the events industry for the past 20 years and owning my business since 2014 is something I am so proud! I would love nothing more than to to continue sharing my passion with you!

Karina - Lead Event Associate

Karina is my go to Lead Event Associate, my extra set of eyes, ears and hands, and has been an invaluable asset to our team for the past 4 years.  The energy she brings and her passion and enthusiasm for events and for making people happy knows no bounds.

​Karina is a force of positivity and someone you can always count on to get things done. She has a sparkling personality and smile to match and is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet!

​Karina has been in the event and hospitality industry for over 15 years working for several well known restaurants, bars and establishments in Santa Barbara. She is also a martial arts and yoga instructor and all around fitness enthusiast.

Most recently she has helped create the Inner Warrior Project, a community based movement that seeks to empower women of all ages and backgrounds using the mind-body connection, teaching self-defense and confidence building skills, and helping lead and inspire women to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals by offering individual support and guidance through seminars, workshops, and retreats.

Ana - Event Associate

Prior to Ana joining the team, she was my client!  Ana hired me as her Wedding Coordinator for her own wedding in 2016.  We worked together for several months and I could tell right away that we were going to make a great team!  Her people skills, positive outlook, and upbeat personality stood out during all our planning sessions.  Aside from that, her wedding was very well thought out and I could tell she put a lot of time and attention into the small details - something I always appreciate as a wedding planner!  

Ana has an extensive background in hospitality and event management. Before becoming a mom, she spent the past 10 years as a private security officer. When Ana is not busy with weddings, she's making cakesicles for parties and special events!
